With a degree in Horticulture from L.S.U. and experience in interior landscaping and garden center management Bob joined Charlie Cook in 1973, purchasing the company in 1976. After a long and enjoyable career he turned over the reins to Margaret Hicks at the beginning of 2011. Bob continues to be available as needed for special projects and consultation.

Margaret Hicks
President & C.E.O.
Margaret found her calling when she started working for Charlie Cook Associates, Inc. in the summer of 1984. With her willingness to learn and the opportunity to move up in the company, Margaret began selling plants in 1990. After twenty-one years in sales, she purchased the company as of January 1st, 2011 and assumed the role of President and C.E.O.

Dan is a thirty one year veteran of the Tropical Plant Industry. As a partner and sole owner of two different Interior Landscape companies, he has been involved in purchasing tropicals as well as sales, installation and maintenance. His knowledge of tropicals and their needed care is extensive; he can help you with many of your questions and is always eager to talk about your needs.

Carolyn’s chosen career path, accounting, has taken her to the restaurant industry, the retail industry, & currently the horticultural industry. Variety is the spice of life and there has definitely been variety with the companies she has been employed. She came on board with Charlie Cook Associates, Inc. in November of 1999. Carolyn totally enjoys all aspects of accounting, which blends well with her passion for gardening and plants. It’s a journey of many interesting people and a privilege to be able to work with and help each of you.

Brittany started working at Charlie Cook Associates, Inc. in August of 2009 after being in the retail industry for several years. The new change in industries has been exciting. She is constantly looking for new ways to improve the company through marketing and communication. She enjoys her role, with its many opportunities to use her creative talents.
