Southern Botanical recently participated in the North Park Mall’s Spring in the Park. They completed a beautiful design showcasing Sansevieria Starfish, Cordyline Ruby, Anthurium Red Champion and Birdsnest Ferns. As you can see below, Greg Gatlin at Southern Botanical’s design compliments the plants and the setting. This event started on May 8th and continues to this weekend. If your local you definitely would not want to miss this.
We obviously love plants, all kinds of plants, but here in Texas we love Succulents in all colors, shapes and sizes. Last weekend was Kenzie’s Wedding Shower and the theme for the shower was vintage and rustic. So we set out to use some different containers with Succulents. The results are amazing. It shows you can take any kind of container, even if it is not made for plants and make it beautiful. I have attached some of the pictures we took in our office of the different looks that turned out to be amazingly vintage and elegant at the same time. So next time you see a rusty metal pan or a rough wooden crate you can picture a beautiful succulent garden and make something that truly stands out.
In the pictures below, we used 2″, 3″ & 4″ Succulents in different containers.

Before we started to set up for the TNLA show in Houston, we went by and got to see a few of our customers. Our first two stops were Enchanted Gardens & Enchanted Forest. Although it rained that day we still walked around the property and boy was it cute! After we got done there we went over to see our awesome customer Nedra at Thompson & Hanson. Our last stop was Buchanan’s Native Plants where we got to see Cheryl. We really enjoyed having the time to see our customers that we normally don’t get to see. Here are a few pictures from that day.
